Shih Tzu – hotly contested issue of Shih Tzu Size Part III
It is a very important article by the Norwegian breeder of Shih Tzu, one of which is the author’s name is not provided. It is expected that its almost certain, but the article was written by Dr. Walter Young, author of several breeds of dogs in Asia.
The first article was published in Beijing just before the Beijing Kennel Club show. It provides that “at least the same frequency as the Beijing and Beijing are Tibetans, shock-headed little long-haired dogs, who came to China during the Manchu Dynasty, a gift of great lamas in Lhasa.” The writer continues to say: “This is a novel small-breed” and then lamented, “made no effort to distinguish between what appears in two different ways, are much larger and higher than the second leg.”
This type of dog described as much larger and higher than the other leg were often bred by breeders in China and sold in markets in the dog days of sale. The writer places these dogs as they are, rather than team sports should be, and it was a lot of confusion as to race, and even in those days, was highly inaccurate dissemination of information about different-sized Shih Tzu. Article confirms the theory, there are two types of Shih Tzu in Beijing, at least as far as 1930 was concerned about: a very small selection of the size, more or less similar to the Pekingese, the other large and apparently very similar to what we call today Apso, albeit smaller, with shorter legs. The writer was also aware of many cases at the intersection of Shih Tzu and the Pekingese.
Princess Der Ling, and came to Beijing with his knowledge of the Countess d’Anjou, the full truth about the old palace of the dog began to emerge. Beijing became its best lovers Shih Tzu Imperial glory, something that was their birthright restored in the happier days. Japanese occupation of Beijing in summer 1937, followed by an attack on Pearl Harbor was 4 ½ years later, the end of their hopes and dreams.
Some very valuable information about the size and weight of the Shih Tzu is a form of personal letters in May 1955 by the Countess d’Anjou wrote to Mrs. Widdrington LG by British breeders and widely recognized authority in the history of Palace of the Lion Dog. Letters can be found in full in March 1967, the American Shih Tzu News. Standard weight restrictions imposed by the French Shih Tzu was 11-22 pounds. All the states have met the standard of full recognition of two other French enthusiasts pre-Pearl Harbor in Beijing. It is highly unlikely that either of them did not know nearly as much as to race, as the story of the Countess. Available data seem to point to its experience from the Shih Tzu Princess Der Ling arrived in confusion before Beijing Imperial Lion Dogs to the full truth about the light, as he was known to the palace.
The countess was very clear in his letter that he was not satisfied with the weight limits allowed. He was willing to adopt them make better decisions. You do not have a weight in terms of bandwidth is historically accurate or even desirable. Countess of writing Mrs. Widdrington said: “Yes, I think it is too large Shih Tzu, England. You should really less than 12 pounds. In fact, the two classes in Beijing, up to 12 pounds (including our small teacups £ 6 today) and more than £ 12 were separated. never had a great you judge those of the Imperial Palace ……
Currently, the American Kennel Club standard format is considered less than 9 pounds, perfect for a Shih Tzu, and the American Kennel Club accepted in the show ring competitions. This amount will not be the AKC show ring. All who love the size, this fact should be as it is.
But we are also confronted with facts that are lower in recent days due to the Shih Tzu breeding methods. This is not true that smaller Shih Tzu “morbid” or more health problems than larger Shih Tzu. It is certainly not true that the breeders to produce smaller Shih Tzu guilty, irresponsible, in-line-breeding and breeding with close relatives of their small size, while almost everything from the small size of the interest to be “more money.”
Shih Tzu puppies in a standard size Shih Tzu in the show ring requirements are inexpensive and capable of operating at much higher prices as much, if not more health problems due to the fact that all animals are grown in weight, appearance and meet the condition of the type of pattern in in-line-breeding and breeding code table is in place. Negative characteristics, such as any health problems as well as the descendants of bloodlines can be more positive qualities of those who make nice for the Shih Tzu in the show ring.
